The meeting for month of March took place last Saturday, March 8, 2014, the same date which the #MH370 reported missing.
Went with a heavy heart, I am sure all of us too during the meeting.
During the meeting besides the usual of looking at all the gadgets, as well as good company, we had a short discussion about the way forward for MobileFest.
For everything that comes in a group, the fun and good time could only lasted thus long. So, to be honest, I need to get constructive feedback from all whom loves MobileFest.
I have been to few user groups, and none of them lasted longer than 1 year, some only few months. So, for the love of the friends I had met in MobileFest, as well as the love of the technology and gadgets, this discussion is critically important. Read more ›

We have heard so much about how Apple is planning to have its iOS in the Car. Looks like the plan to do so may not be able to materialise just yet.
Having iOS in the car, sounds like a great idea.
So looks like Apple has hit some walls while speaking to the automakers. Bet most of them would have said no, and some how related to iOS Maps. Yep, the wonky maps which may drive the car owners to where he or she not suppose to go.

So, for time being, just go with having the iPhone (5S, 5C and 5) to connect to the car entertainment system, just like what we already doing now. Perhaps, without the Maps. But, we will survive.
The press release from Apple. Read more ›

Dr. Maki, surgeon who invented the 3D surgical using Mac
Amazing. Mac has reached 30 years in invention and usage.
The thing about Mac for me personally, it is a computer one wanted to get and use. However, because of the too many perceptions built around it, not many willing to try it, or switch over to Mac, from Windows PC, laptops.
For me, it was a bold move to switch. Besides to set aside the money, which my first Mac – MacBook White was 2x more than a Windows laptop. I had so many issues with the first Mac which I cursed Apple and later the support team willingly to fix whatever technical issues I encountered after much complaints I launched against Apple and its authorised after sales support (yep, until today, Apple in Malaysia does not have any Apple owned sales neither service outlets).
